Capacity crowd gears up for NI Chamber President’s Banquet

 Over 825 guests set to hear from ex Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond

Over 825 members of the local business community will attend one of the largest business galas ever to be held in Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual President’s Banquet takes place at Belfast Waterfront on 16 November 2017, with guest speaker Richard Hammond, best known for co-hosting the BBC2 car programme Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson and James May and also Amazon’s The Grand Tour.

The dinner is billed as a celebration of “engineering in motion” and will celebrate Northern Ireland’s engineering prowess throughout the evening. Amongst the local engineering wonders to be showcased is a 1980’s DeLorean which has been restored and electrified by students at the Queen’s University School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
