4c is partnering up with a with a growing and ambitious manufacturing and fit-out company to appoint a Head of Supply Chain to join its senior leadership team in a fast moving and successful manufacturing facility. 

The Head of Supply Chain will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for driving continuous improvement through effective strategic planning, team leadership, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. 

The successful candidate will review, develop and implement effective supply chain processes, and provide leadership and direction in the areas of procurement, supply chain risk management, materials flows optimisation, and people development.

As well as being technically competent, success in the role is primarily dependent on the Head of Supply Chain being an engaging leader, with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to adapt and respond to rapid change. In addition, the successful applicant will need to have the following skills and qualification:

• Proven experience operating at a senior level within a Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related function.
• Demonstrable experience of developing new processes from start to finish, ensuring the procurement and supply chain functions are fit for purpose.
• Experience of managing and delivering procurement strategies within an innovative, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with sourcing and procurement and building a vendor program.
• Experience of managing and developing a high performing team.
• Demonstrable experience of using ERP systems – JDE, SAP, etc.
• Proven experience of using SIOP tools/processes.

Desirable Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
• International buying experience.
