Description
4C Executive Placement is partnering with a long stablished textile business with over 140 years of history as they seek to appoint a Head of Supply Chain & Quality Control.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Supply Chain & Quality Control will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring that products are sourced efficiently, delivered in full, on time and compliant with industry regulations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s sourcing strategies, managing relationships with suppliers, and continuously improving the organisation’s supply chain operations to meet customer expectations and business objectives.
The role holder will have strong communication skills and robust commercial acumen, as well as:
- Significant experience in a senior supply chain management position, ideally within the textile, homewares, or similar consumer goods industries.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and compliance regulations within the UK and international markets coupled with a proven experience of managing and dealing with quality control.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing practices.
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
- Track record of managing complex supply chains, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
