4C Executive Placement is proud to support Praxis Care in the appointment of Head of Property (ROI), a key leadership role with responsibility for shaping and safeguarding a diverse property portfolio that underpins the delivery of high-quality care services across the Republic of Ireland.
Praxis Care is the largest registered Social Care Charity in Northern Ireland, founded in 1984 initially to provide a befriending service to people with mental ill health experiencing isolation. Praxis has since expanded its services in terms of scope and geography across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Isle of Man, and has gained a formidable reputation both as an innovator in the sector and for its authentic commitment to improving the lives of those individuals it supports.
Working as part of a committed senior leadership team and reporting to the Assistant Director of Property, the Head of Property will provide strategic, operational and governance oversight across the Republic of Ireland estate. The role will ensure all properties are safe, compliant, financially sustainable and aligned to Praxis Care’s long-term strategy and 2030 objectives.
A major focus of this role will be leading the modernisation of the maintenance function, driving the transition from reactive practices to a structured, digitally enabled planned preventive maintenance model supported by robust KPIs, stronger governance and improved cost control. The postholder will also oversee statutory compliance, asset lifecycle planning, contractor performance, capital development projects and the integrity of property systems and data.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced property leader who thrives in a values-driven environment and can deliver strategic improvement across a complex, multi-site portfolio.
