Our client is a highly innovative and progressive NI based food production company, having won many awards for their leadership, innovation and marketing. As they continue to invest and grow they are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly commercial Head of OOH, Impulse & Foodservice.
The Head of OOH, Impulse & Foodservice will be a senior member of the commercial team, with direct responsibility for the growth of the channel and will play a key role in the development and expansion of the existing team.
The successful candidate will lead the commercial strategy and execution across non-grocery channels, driving growth in opportunity sectors including convenience/wholesale, impulse, fine food, vending, leisure, travel, and workplace across all brands to deliver sustainable and profitable revenue and distribution growth.
The Head of OOH, Impulse & Foodservice should also possess the following skills and experience:
- Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject.
- Proven experience in an FMCG leadership / senior commercial role.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams, with a focus on building capability and driving results.
- Track record of building out the following channels – Out of Home (inc. travel), Foodservice, Impulse & High Street sectors.
- Recognised ability to build relationships and manage key customers in the sector.
- In-depth understanding of customer systems, processes, and trading tactics.
- Strong commercial acumen & analytical ability, with experience in managing P&Ls.
- Experienced in managing diverse brand and product portfolios.
- Resilient, with a strategic business development mindset and a positive approach.
- Highly proficient in leveraging data to create compelling trade stories.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
