Description
Our client is a highly innovative and progressive NI based food production company, having won many awards for their leadership, innovation and marketing. As they continue to invest and grow they are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly commercial Head of Marketing.
The Head of Marketing will be the brand guardian, responsible for scaling the company’s impact and reach across all channels. The successful candidate will lead the design and execution of the company’s marketing strategy across all brands, building brand awareness and consideration, driving innovation and delivering consistent and compelling consumer experiences.
The role holder will be a highly commercial leader with strong analytical skills and the ability to assess the global market for growth opportunities. The individual will foster strong collaboration amongst teams and will lead the development and growth of the existing marketing team.
The Head of Marketing should also possess the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience in a senior marketing role working within the FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful integrated marketing plans across multiple brands, channels and markets which are aligned to overall business goals and support the business to achieve its objectives.
- Proven experience leading, managing and developing a growing marketing team.
- Demonstrable track record of success in building brand awareness and consideration.
- Success launching or scaling brands or innovations in a competitive market.
- Proficient in using data and insights to build compelling propositions and robust trade stories.
- Proven experience of managing marketing budgets delivering strong ROI.
- Demonstrable experience working in collaboration with other departments in order to achieve optimal results from marketing campaigns.
- Successful experience managing external agencies.
- Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject.
