As CEO, Gary’s role is multifaceted, encompassing strategic leadership, business development, operational oversight and client relationship management, all focused on driving the firm’s success in placing top talent.

Gary Irvine, a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Recruiters, is an experienced executive recruiter and business owner. He is the founder/owner of 4C Executive Placement, a UK and Ireland leading search firm.

Prior to establishing 4C, Gary was also the founder and CEO of Diamond Recruitment Group (DRG) for 25 years , Northern Ireland’s largest recruitment agency business. Established in 1989, Diamond Recruitment placed well over 2,500 people in temporary employment every day and hundreds every year in permanent employment, making it a top 20 employer in NI. The firm specialised in recruitment, HR services and managed workforce solutions.

Gary is also a co-founder director in software company SeeMeHired.com (SMH) a cloud based ATS / all-in-one end-to-end new employee hiring and onboarding solution.

As Managing Director of 4C Executive Placement, Gordon leads a high-performing team renowned for delivering exceptional executive search and talent solutions across the Private, Public, and Not-for-Profit sectors. Under his leadership, 4C continues to uphold its reputation for excellence, strategic insight, and client-focused service.

Gordon brings over 25 years of international business experience spanning the UK, Ireland, Europe, and the USA. Prior to joining 4C, he held a series of senior leadership roles in the services sector, building on a successful earlier career in manufacturing across global markets.

With a strong strategic mindset and deep commercial acumen, Gordon has a proven track record of driving sustainable growth for businesses across a wide range of industries. His extensive experience in senior business development roles has shaped his unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and exceeding client expectations.

As Head of Delivery at 4C Claire oversees the delivery of all client assignments, from inception through to completion, by leading and supporting the wider delivery team in the execution of their duties.

With over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, Claire takes responsibility for ensuring that all assignments are professionally serviced and successfully delivered to the exceptionally high standard for which 4C has become renowned.

She plays a pivotal role in developing and managing 4C’s business strategy, whilst also acting as a figurehead for the business in Northern Ireland.
