Our new specialised division, 7twenty Professional Search, is exclusively partnering with a highly innovative and progressive Northern Ireland based food business to appoint an experienced NPD Manager. The Award-Winning business produces everything inhouse in their state-of-art production facility, for their strong portfolio of brands and own own-label. They have a strong presence across Ireland & the UK, and now export to over 26 markets around the world. To fuel their continued growth and ambition, they seek to appoint an ambitious and highly innovative NPD Manager.

The NPD Manager will be responsible for the ideation, development & launch of new products within the business. This role reports directly to the Marketing Director, and involves working with Marketing, Sales, Operations & Procurement to drive the innovation & NPD strategy for commercial growth. The role will involve identifying emerging market trends & innovation opportunities for own brands and private label, delivering all projects from concept through to launch on time & budget.

The successful candidate should also possess the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a Food Science, Food Innovation or related subject, with significant experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Successful track record of new product launches and renovations.
• Experienced in all aspects of the stage-gate product development process, including running kitchen trials and factory trials.
• Strong understanding of food nutrition and a clear passion for food in a commercial environment.
