As Belfast seeks to innovate and grow, it is further cementing its position on the global stage as a vibrant and energetic city with much to offer residents, investors, businesses and tourists alike.
To drive the growing momentum in the city, Belfast City Council is seeking to appoint a Director (Operational) City Regeneration and Development to ensure successful delivery against its ambitious growth plans.
The key focus of this role is to lead the redevelopment and physical regeneration of the city; to create energetic, safe and attractive places across the city for people to live, work and visit as well as driving improvements in our physical infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be visionary in terms of creating innovative spaces, but will also lead on engagement with developers, investors and strategic partners across the public and private sectors to initiate and complete large scale regeneration projects.
We would like to hear from candidates who have at least three years’ experience of:
- Leading on the development and delivery of regeneration strategies at a senior management level;
- Inspirational leadership, both internally and with external stakeholders; and
- Leading on the delivery of strategic objectives and organisational change.
